Yoga, as I wrote in my previous article is effective for physical as well as mental well being, but it requires some degree of patience to get results. Fitness does not mean you should strain your body excessively. Almost all kind of exercises and fitness programs take time to show results.

Fitness is a result of a balanced physical and mental well being. Modern day life style gives us a lot of stress which results in poor mental health. We are always on the move without giving our body enough relaxation. When we perform yogic exercises, we should make it a point that our mind is stress free and we have enough time for relaxation.

All you have to do is exercise according to your stamina without straining your body and muscles. Move slowly to tough postures and advanced methods of Pranayama(breathing exercises) .Follow an exercise program regularly and preferably at the same time every day. For maximum results, try to perform yoga early in the morning. Tough postures should be done under a qualified Yoga instructor.
