Books : Used or new ones , a great stress buster

Monday Feb 16, 2009

No matter how much information you can get online, reading in printed form has its own charm. The pleasure of reading a book sitting in garden cannot be replaced by working on any lap top or PDA. What really makes this habit of reading books still very popular is the convenience and availability of this form of study material.

Though you can store hundreds of eBooks on your laptop, you cannot read all of them while travelling or vacationing.   A few advantages of reading books in printed form rather than eBooks on your PC

·         You are not dependent on power source or battery life of your laptop
Buy Books, Spread Literacy

·         You do not strain you eyes even if you keep reading for hours.

·         Always handy and can be carried anywhere. Pocket books can be carried even in purse.

·         Unlike electronic device, no need to worry about keeping it away from water or liquids.

·         You need not worry about data or eBook being corrupted because of virus.

·         Last but not the least; books remain a timeless memory as long as you can keep them safe.

Even today I make it a point to buy and read books regularly. It gives me satisfaction of spending my time leisurely. This feeling is missing when you read the same book in electronic form.

Though I must admit searching for books online is great time saver, visiting you local store and flipping through the books before buying has its own pleasure.

You can order any book you like from wherever you are. Order online and your favorite book will be shipped as soon as possible.

I really like the second hand books market at Lal Quila (Daryaganj). It’s a temporary one (Sundays) and though therez lots of crap, if u search u can find great books at very cheap prices. Nice blog, keep up the good work.
