Job search as easy as 1 2 3

Saturday Jun 30, 2007

I have come across many learned people who are  living failures. Opportunities are always there for   hardworking people  but many are simply not able to grab it . They die with awesome talents and vast knowledge without having used them. Very sad!

What does it take to be sucessful in  life? Although , everyone has one’s own definition of success, it can be generalised that  if  you have job satisfaction and are finacially sound with a good social status , people may look up to you as a success story. Finding a good job with good pay package and job satisfaction is a real challenge these days. It takes a bit of smartness and ability to recognize the right opportunity at right time , to be successful.

Try to sharpen your skills in your area of knowledge, as much as possible, because to be an extraordinary you need to put something extra into an ordinary thing . Be original, don’t be carried away by what your peers say . You might be successful at somthing your peers might not have even heard of. If you are good at writing , start writing about things you know. Make a collection of your work so that they can be a proof of your skills when facing an interview. If you are good at technology , do something new , no matter how small it is. Originality is what matters in the long run.

Thinking  out of the box  and implementing new ideas at your work place is what makes you smarter than others. Creativity in any field is what keeps you ahead of others.
